A bus loop from outside the airport terminal, through the adjacent bus terminal and past the airport railway station, with the same logic. ![]() ![]() A bus loop from the harbour to the adjacent rail station, with stops as close to both buildings as possible, to save cims the short walk. (Cars just spawn near the building anyway.) Banning cars on the road out of the Harbour using TM:PE. What have I tried? Lots, but so far nothing has worked. Weirdly, what is getting heaps of use is the helicopter line I set up from the airport to the central transit hub - there are over 1000 people queued up at the airport end waiting to get into the city, but nowhere near as many going the other way. Instead both these buildings are generating crazy amounts of cars which are then clogging up my road and highway systems. All of these connections appear to be getting little to no usage - it was my belief that 'cims love public transport', and if you provide it they will use it. My airport is a bit out of the city but has a direct rail connection, metro line and bus route, all to the central transit hub (which then connect anywhere in the city - to me multiple lines with the same purpose seems redundant, but given the low usage on all these lines I thought it worth a shot to offer cims some choice). In the case of the harbour, it is located right next to my main ferry pier and rail hub, right in my central transport nucleus, so has good connections to ferry, bus and rail routes to any area of the city. Both my airport (vanilla International Airport) and Harbour (vanilla cruise ship harbour) seem to be generating excessive amounts of road traffic. Looking for some suggested fixes/troubleshoots.
